Ski for Life 2019 – What a fantastic Long Weekend!
A lot of new friends made, a lot of fun had, a wonderful group of people involved in each stop. All donating time, food or assistance in some way.
There was also a fantastic auction where Pirate Life helped the team out with a wake board to donate (below). 
Old Dogs had a goal to reach $5000 in donations, and when our final tally was reached it came to $5780, not a bad effort for first timers…We’ve had a lot of help from some wonderful sponsors but the fund raising has definitely been due to the efforts of team members.
Old Dogs, New Trix will be back to Ski for Life again next year!
So What is Ski For Life?
Ski for Life are a group of people who are committed to raising awareness of, and promoting mental health, well-being and suicide prevention. Their incorporation means they can raise funds not only via the big race, but also by other means, in order to fund grants and support community initiatives that have a focus on these areas.

So why are PoolHeat involved?
Well Old Dogs like to get up to New Trix! And on the Old Dogs, New Trix team you’ll find Patrick from PoolHeat (a big skier in his youth) who many of you may have met on-site .
