But What Does the Coronavirus have to do with PoolHeat?
It has a lot to do with all of us, so we've been thinking about ways to help....
For instance, elsewhere in the world, people are being asked to work from home or self isolate due to family illness. Even in Australia, if someone has a mild case of the coronavirus (now known as COVID-19), they are being asked to do the same thing.
In some states or at certain times of the past year we have all been asked to stay at home apart from essential
workers or food shopping/exercise. If you’re feeling well, that sort of thing can drive you mad!
Here’s a list of things to do if you have to self-isolate due to the coronavirus.
- Got a swimming pool or spa? Make full use of it (but make sure you keep your pool care up!)
- Stay in contact with family and friends – not just by email, but on the phone or via skype. It’s always good to hear a friendly voice.
- Get out in the garden if you have one, or any outside area you may have. A little sunshine can make the world of difference!
- If you are running out of supplies, check in with the Red Cross or Salvation Army. Don’t be too proud, you can always make a donation when things are back to normal.
- If you have a streaming service or i-view binge tv – now’s an opportunity to do it without guilt!
- If you don’t, get out the board games and cards and reconnect as a family or with friends, if you live with them.
- If you’re an exercise junkie and there’s no weights to lift, change the furniture around. It’ll change your point of view, and give you that bit of exercise you crave.
